Specialty Coating Systems Introduces New Dispenser for Spincoat Systems

SCS Multi-Dispense provides enhanced flexibility and control

INDIANAPOLIS - Specialty Coating Systems (SCS) recently introduced the SCS Multi-Dispense, a versatile new coating dispenser to be used in conjunction with SCS Spincoat systems. The Multi-Dispense enables users to control up to four coating modules through one control unit, eliminating the need for time-consuming cleaning and change-over. SCS Spincoat systems and the new Multi-Dispense represent the standard in operating precision and programming flexibility.

The Multi-Dispense unit is powered and controlled by an SCS programmable spincoat system. There are two dispense modules currently available - stainless steel and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) - to accommodate a wide range of coatings including photoresists, polyimides, metallo-organics and dopants, solvents and cleaning solutions.

Bill Boyd, SCS Equipment Market Manager, says "The use of multiple dispensing modules with any programmable SCS spincoat system allows users to quickly and easily control which coatings or solvents are utilized and eliminates time-consuming cleaning and change-over steps."
